Slow Cooker Picadillo

Cuban Slow Cooker Picadillo

Cuban food has become… dare I say… one of my favorite types of cuisine. I lived in Miami for a few years and was bombarded with so many amazing food options. I honestly had never heard of many of these dishes but quickly grew to love them.

SO here is another one of my favorites: Picadillo! This dish takes ground beef, an array of spices, olives, and (depending who you talk to) raisins. It is an amazing mix of sweet, salt, and tang that makes every bite an adventure.

Its also surprisingly simple to make! Throw it in your crock pot or instant pot for an easy leave it and forget it meal.
